A Solutions Architect is responsible for being a subject matter expert in Digital Workplace related designs and project delivery with a primary focus on Microsoft technologies. The Solutions Architect will work with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), Practice Managers, Professional Services Team Members, Sales Teams, e360 Operations Team and e360 Clients to ensure proper project delivery and client success.
Solutions Architects will design client environments using the latest best practices, e360 knowledge and personal skills to meet the customer’s desired goals. They may perform oversight of projects being implemented by other team members to address any gaps by performing tasks, supporting them in escalation, and ensuing projects are on track to completion. Lastly, Solutions Architects will use their knowledge to raise the skills of the team through mentoring, best practice development, reference architecture creation, internal projects, and leadership always.
The candidate must have a strong understanding of Microsoft products such as Exchange Online, Azure AD, Active Directory, M365 Security and Compliance, Teams, Endpoint Manager/Mobile Device management. This position requires proficiency in PowerShell, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to communicate with a range of client roles including engineers, IT managers and executives. Although the Microsoft Solutions Architect role has a primary focus of Microsoft 365, the candidate must be able to perform non-cloud related tasks such as the setup and configuration of Microsoft on-premises technologies including Active Directory, and Certificate services. We are looking for a candidate with a good overall knowledge of the Microsoft product stack and possess refined consulting soft skills.
The work you will perform for our clients
· Perform project work including but not limited to the following: assessments, designs and implementations of Digital Workplace solutions
· Deliver customer-facing Microsoft Workshops including the following topics: Copilot for M365, Security, Data Governance, and Teams
· Lead larger/more complex engagements including managing client relationships
· Assist in project scoping and when required the composition and presentation of Statements of Work or Service Orders for related client opportunities
· Explain complex concepts in a clear and concise form during meetings
The work you will perform for our business
This is a customer facing role.
· Coach and mentor subordinates, and contribute to the development plans of team members
· Review and contribute to engagement work products and deliverables
· Presales activities include collaborating with Presales team to scope engagements and timing and contributing proposal content
· Identify opportunities for e360 when talking to clients and to follow through with the sales team to ensure the opportunity is captured
· Market activities include representing e360 at industry events, contributing to internal and external presentations, and contributing to the creation of marketing and eminence products
Qualifications
The following list is examples of desired experience and candidates should meet most of the listed qualifications.
· Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Technical certifications and years of experience will also be counted.
· 8+ years of experience with the architecture/design of Microsoft environments using on-premises and cloud-based services
· Experience with designing, deploying solutions for Microsoft Azure, Intune/Endpoint Manager, Azure AD/Entra, Teams, Power Platform and Purview
· Experience with Windows 365, or Microsoft AVD is highly desired
· Experience with the support, administration, and architecture/design of public cloud hyperscalers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
· Experience with the support, administration, and architecture/design of an on-premises and cloud-based Services environment with 1,000+ concurrent users
· Experience with 3rd party solutions in the Microsoft ecosystem highly desired (examples include Quest, ShareGate, BitTitan)
· Business technology and workflow analysis experience, specifically as it relates to translating operational and financial objectives into the overall design of a Microsoft solution.
· Microsoft Certified – Teams Administrator Associate or Endpoint Administrator Associate
· Microsoft Certified – Information Security Administrator Associate or Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate
