Job Summary:

SimpliGov is seeking to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) responsible for prospecting and generating qualified leads for our Sales Executives. The ideal candidate is resultsdriven, possesses strong and natural sales talents, and is committed to creating new business opportunities.

This position is an entrylevel role within the Sales team and reports to the Sales Development Manager. Significant opportunities are available in terms of compensation (no cap on commissions) and a career path to an Account Executive role.


Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, qualify, follow up and educate a high volume of cold leads into prospects.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the SimpliGov platform, and value proposition.
  • Use Salesforce and sales enablement tools according to SimpliGov standards.
  • Support Sales Executives by prospecting and scheduling qualification meetings and product demos.
  • Maintain a sufficient volume of outbound activities to achieve or exceed your monthly quota of scheduled demos and qualified opportunities.

    • Qualifications:

      • 1+ years of SDR experience.
      • Proven experience in generating 80% of opportunities through cold outbound prospecting.
      • Highly motivated, driven and selfstarting individual.
      • Bachelors Degree or relevant working experience.
      • Outstanding written, verbal & presentation skills.
      • Comfortable, confident & professional in contacting potential customers.
      • Strong entrepreneurial personality, selfmotivated and selfmanaging.
      • Prior experience using Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Apollo (or other Sales automation and CRM systems).
      • Must be located in the U.S.

              The US base salary range for this fulltime position is $50,000 $60,000 plus commission and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum targets for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including jobrelated skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
