Role overview
You will be in a Data Operations team working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the routine deliverables of the Data Integration function are met consistently on time and with quality. As a member of this team, you’ll focus on daily file delivery, data validation & transformation processes and upload activities as defined by schedule, standards and practices. Additional project work will be assigned for new customer implementations and continuous improvement activities.
A day in the life…
Responsible for a set of assigned customer and partner files. Maintain file tracker and ensure files are received in accordance with the defined schedule. Follow up with external stakeholders as needed to ensure corrective action is taken on late or missing file deliveries.
Upon file receipt and per schedule, process assigned customer and partner files per Data Validation & Transformation processes.
Investigates issues/failures and perform analysis to determine next best action. Follow up with internal or external stakeholders to resolve issues.
Analyze issue trends/patterns and customer feedback to drive continuous improvements and avoid repetitive issues. Escalates to leadership or other internal stakeholders as needed to ensure improvements are realized.
Complete file upload processes into internal tools, archive systems and maintain tracker/documentation as per process.
Additional Data Operations work will involve support tickets, system configurations, file/folder management, trouble shooting, root cause analysis of issues from the existing operation processes, as well as to answer data questions from business users. These activities are adhoc in nature and vary day to day based on customer, partner and stakeholder needs.
Serves as the back up to other colleagues as needed to maintain schedule and commitments.
New customer implementation projects will be assigned as needed based on sales volume. Project work will involve working with internal/external stakeholders to bring in external data sets to meet defined business requirements. Tasks will include direct customer/partner communication, specification reviews and validation of test files to ensure on time launch of customer services.
As time, skill and ability permit, additional technical assignments may include working with other Data Integration engineers interactively to cross train and learn deeper technical skills within Accolade platform. Examples of these activities may include writing new data ingestion scripts and configuration or supporting deployment of new components on Accolades platform.
What we are looking for…
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management or Business, or other related fields
2+ years of hands on experience with data centric validation and processing, preferably working with healthcare claims and enrollment data.
SQL skills to support data analysis and test scripting to validate data.
Ability to analyze data and process flows, able to collaborate development of business requirements and functional specifications to align data processes with business goals
Experience working in team environment with variable work patterns and process. Flexibility and agility are a must.
The salary range for this role is:
$69400-$104100Annually
