      Job Description

      We’re seeking a dedicated Virtual Assistant to join our team during this pivotal prelaunch phase as we prepare to revolutionize the surfing trip booking experience. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our operations and helping us scale effectively as we approach our November platform launch. This position offers the perfect blend of administrative excellence and creative engagement, allowing you to contribute meaningfully to a startup that’s passionate about connecting surfers with incredible experiences. You’ll work closely with our Australianbased team, managing essential communications and administrative tasks that keep our operations running smoothly while we build toward our exciting launch.

      Responsibilities
      • Manage and respond to emails with professionalism and promptness, serving as a key communication point for the business
      • Handle social media requests and drive engagement across various platforms to build our prelaunch community
      • Conduct strategic followups with prospects, partners, and stakeholders to maintain strong business relationships
      • Perform targeted research tasks to support business development and operational decisions
      • Complete accurate data entry tasks and maintain organized digital systems. Including entering of invoices
      • Organize and maintain comprehensive digital file systems and documentation
      • Create compelling email templates and messaging content for various business communications
      • Support essential daily administrative tasks that keep our growing operations running efficiently
      • Collaborate with team members on special projects as we approach our platform launch

        • Requirements
          • Proven experience in administrative support or virtual assistant roles with demonstrated success
          • Excellent email management and professional communication skills
          • Social media management experience with familiarity across multiple platforms
          • Strong proficiency in data entry, file organization, and digital systems management
          • Familiarity with bookkeeping software such as Quickbooks, Xero or MYOB
          • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
          • Reliable highspeed internet connection and professional home office setup
          • Flexibility to work within Australian time zones (Queenslandbased team)
          • Outstanding attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
          • Enthusiasm for working with a growing startup in an exciting industry
