Position General Summary:
The Senior Director, Sales and Strategic Growth is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and the overall direction of FlexPoint. This role oversees business development, sales and sales support teams, ensuring alignment across functions to achieve business objectives. The Senior Director sets the vision for FlexPoint, fosters a high-performance sales culture, and champions data-driven consultative selling practices. This position plays a critical role in shaping sales strategy, enhancing customer engagement and experience, and delivering operational excellence. As a member of the executive and senior leadership teams, the Senior Director, Sales and Strategic Growth, represents FlexPoint on a national and international scale, supporting the organization’s global expansion.
Essential Position Functions:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales and customer experience strategies aligned with overall business and organizational objectives.
Develop and monitor short- and long-term goals aligned to company goals and market demands.
Foster a high-performance team culture with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Supervise and lead the Directors of Sales and Sales Support and their respective teams.
Drive revenue growth through accountability of pipeline and forecasting.
Collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership, marketing, product development, and technology teams to align sales efforts with product roadmaps, organizational goals, and service enhancements.
Directly engage with major customers and prospects for high-potential deals and cultivate strong, trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, including executive-level management and Boards of Trustees.
Design and implement effective incentive plans for various sales roles to drive performance, motivation, and alignment with FlexPoint's strategic objectives.
Oversee the sales team budget, allocating resources effectively to support business objectives and maximize ROI.
Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and promotion, to drive customer acquisition and retention.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging educational technology to continuously refine sales strategies and product positioning.
Represent FlexPoint at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, positioning the organization as a leader in online education.
Provide strategic input to product development based on market feedback and customer needs.
Consult with third party representatives regarding partnership and business development opportunities.
Maintain professional obligations through efficient work habits, including meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources, and demonstrating respect for others.

Minimum Requirements:
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Education, Business Administration, Marketing; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience in online education, preferred.
Experience:
Ten years’ progressive experience in Educational Leadership, Education Management, Education Administration, Education, Sales, or Business.
Five years’ experience in Strategic Leadership
Five years’ experience leading, managing and/or supervising others.
Five years’ management experience of projects and/or budgets.
Experience managing external contracts and third-party vendor relationships.
Experience and knowledge of K-12 distance learning industry (preferred).
