Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global HRIS Inhouse Consultant to join our dynamic team in Syracuse, United States. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting our global Human Resources Information Systems, with a primary focus on Workday HCM. As a key member of our HR technology team, you will play a crucial role in driving efficiency and innovation in our HR processes worldwide.

  • Configure, maintain, and ensure system quality of the Workday HCM system, including data error analysis, data integrity checks, and firstlevel support for HR endusers
  • Manage HRspecific tools (e.g., Culture Amp, SmartRecruiters), including interface monitoring, user administration, and technical support
  • Analyze existing HR processes and data flows, identifying optimization opportunities and gathering requirements in collaboration with HR stakeholders
  • Implement and continuously develop HRspecific requirements in Workday and other HR systems, integrating business processes with IT solutions for sustainable process optimization
  • Participate in international HR digitization projects, supporting rollouts, testing new system features, and managing technical integration into existing HR processes
  • Develop and conduct training sessions for HR users, document system processes, and communicate best practices and trends from new Workday releases
  • Collaborate with external application management partners (AMS) and international teams to ensure seamless system operations
  • Provide process and system consulting to HR departments, translating business requirements into effective system solutions
  • Monitor and manage system interfaces and authorization processes across the global HR technology landscape
    • Qualifications
      • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, preferably with additional qualifications in HR systems or process management
      • Workday certifications, such as HCM Core, Absence, Time Tracking, Learning, Talent Management, and Payroll & Benefits US
      • Minimum of 35 years of experience in Workday administration, configuration, and process support, particularly in interface and authorization management
      • Proven expertise in translating HR business requirements into system solutions and structured analysis of error sources and process deviations
      • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, regulations, and emerging trends in HR technology
      • Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced, global environment
      • Demonstrated project management experience, preferably in international, matrixoriented work environments
      • Advanced proficiency in Workday HCM system and familiarity with other HRspecific tools
      • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
      • Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal. Fluent in German speaking a plus!
      • Ability to work collaboratively in crossfunctional teams and with external IT service providers
      • Innovative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and process optimization
      • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in data management and system configuration
