Manager, Software Quality Engineer

Description

• Manage a team of quality engineers to ensure delivery on key projects and project goals.
• Assist with product strategy and the quality engineering development process.
• Manage a team of offshore software quality engineers to coordinate technical requirements and quality assurance work.
• Collaborate with the product management team to analyze business requirements, software quality solutions, and incorporate the company’s software quality technology strategy.
• Interface with software architecture teams, operations, and other cross functional teams to gather requirements for new software quality features and functionality to support the business.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 
• Employer requires ten years of progressive experience in software quality assurance engineering.  
• Work experience to include: 1. Seven years of experience with Software Test Automation for Web Frontend Applications (HTML, CSS, and Angular) and backend API services (including REST and SOAP). 2. Seven years of experience with automation and test automation frameworks including: Selenium, QTP, and Rest Assured. 3. Seven years of experience with Java and Java Script programing languages. 4. Seven years of experience with relational databases (Oracle and SQL). 5. Seven years of experience in technical analysis and requirements testing. 6. Five years of experience of performance testing using JMeter and Load Runner. 7. Five years of experience with application performance analysis, diagnostics, and tracing using AppDynamics, Introscope, and Splunk. 8. Five years of experience working with cross-functional teams in testing and deploying software applications. 9. Five years of experience utilizing Agile SDLC Scrum or Kanban processes. 10. Three years of experience leading a software quality assurance team (including remote and offsite teams).  
• Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.  
• 40 hrs./wk.  
• Salary: $149,196.25 to $154,196.25 per year.
