Purpose of Position:The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing direct and indirect sales activities for a specific group of customers in Switzerland and Austria.
The KAM ensures the achievement of company goals in terms of sales and gross margin, maintaining a close technical and commercial relationship with customers to identify new business opportunities, in line with company directives.
The person will be based in Austria and available to travel 75% of the time.
Responsibilities
Build trustbased relationships with key clients.
Fully understand clients needs and requirements.
Expand relationships with existing clients by offering tailored solutions.
Ensure timely delivery of the right products and services to customers.
Act as a liaison between key clients and internal teams.
Address and resolve customer issues to maintain trust.
Play a critical role in generating new sales that lead to longterm relationships.
Provide regular reports on progress and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders using key metrics.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree in business, sales, or a related field.
Professional Skills: 35 years in a similar role, preferably in B2B companies. General understanding of bakery, pastry, and ice cream products, focusing on chocolate and creams. Experience selling food products.
Language Skills:German and English are required; French is a plus.
