About the role
We’re looking for a Technical Writer who’s passionate about developer experience and documentation excellence. In this role, youll adopt a docsascode approach, building tools and processes that integrate documentation seamlessly into our development workflows. Youll work closely with engineers, designers, and product teams to produce and maintain highquality documentation that empowers both technical and nontechnical users of our SaaS platform.
Key Responsibilities
Build custom tools to streamline documentation and generate example code snippets from source for SDK and APIs.
Create documentation tests and enforce standards.
Write clear, concise documentation for complex technical concepts and developer workflows.
Create user guides and help center content for nontechnical audiences.
Build example projects and sandbox environments to enhance the developer learning experience.
Manage blog content and write productrelated articles for the company website.
Qualifications
Relevant experience in a similar role for at least 2 years (APIsSDK).
Experience with docsascode workflows and modern static site generators (preferably Next.js).
Strong technical writing skills with a developerfirst mindset.
Familiarity with developer tools, APIs, source code documentation, and markdownbased content workflows.
Comfortable working with frontend and backend engineers on content generation tools.
Location
Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
