JOB SUMMARY

The HRIS Specialist is an entry-level systems coordinator who supports day-to-day HRIS operations and develops foundational skills across Workday modules, reporting, and data validation. Working under structured guidance, this role assists with user troubleshooting, recurring system updates, and ticket documentation. This role builds foundational fluency in HRIS workflows, supports system accuracy, and demonstrates increasing readiness for administrator-level responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support HR systems transactions such as data entry, updates, and user troubleshooting
  • Assist in the documentation and triage of support tickets, including root cause capture and resolution logging
  • Learn and apply standards for data integrity, validation, and reporting across Workday modules
  • Participate in recurring data audits and scheduled mass data loads
  • Contribute to knowledgebase updates and documentation of routine systems procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to improve coordination and consistency across system workflows

SUCCESS MARKERS

  • Demonstrates accuracy and consistency in data processing and documentation
  • Grows fluency in Workday navigation, configuration standards, and security roles
  • Provides timely support for HRIS issues with growing independence and accountability for resolution tracking
  • Contributes to process rigor and system reliability by following structured practices
  • Shows progression toward administrator-level tasks and responsibilities
