What is the opportunity?

FutureLearn is seeking a proactive CRM Executive to join our dynamic marketing team. We're looking for someone who thrives on working with large datasets and complex CRM setups, and who brings a strong analytical, problem-solving mindset. You should enjoy improving and scaling CRM systems to deliver measurable results.

In this role, you'll help manage the CRM operations across multiple brands and work autonomously to identify opportunities, improve lifecycle journeys, and support ad hoc campaigns. Key responsibilities include setting up and monitoring automated journeys, streamlining collaboration with the wider marketing team, and ensuring CRM activity aligns with our overall strategy.

This is a hybrid role covering two distinct areas of the business. You'll support FutureLearn, our online learning platform, and University Services, where we provide CRM and digital marketing support to our university partners. We currently support three university brands (with plans to expand), focusing on long-tail nurturing journeys that convert online degree leads into completed applications — a top CRM priority for the business.

We’re seeking a CRM platform specialist with a proven track record in lead conversion and journey optimisation, ideally with experience using Iterable and/or Salesforce.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about CRM and email marketing to make a real impact in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

This is a fully remote role, but applicants must be based in the Czech Republic.

What does success look like?
  • Help manage the CRM calendar across multiple brands while working autonomously to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
  • Create and optimise long-tail nurturing journeys that convert online degree leads into completed applications.
  • Manage the end-to-end email campaign process – from briefing and stakeholder sign-off to setup, testing, scheduling, and deployment.
  • Implement and monitor automated journeys to meet CRM KPIs, identifying and executing optimisation opportunities including A/B testing.
  • Collaborate with a range of stakeholders – including copywriters, designers, engineers, and data analysts – to deliver effective CRM campaigns.
  • Write clear, detailed briefs for campaign assets, web content, and email newsletters.
  • Report on CRM performance, focusing on engagement metrics and accurate forecasting.
  • Identify and resolve CRM process issues, and develop efficient workflows that support CRM growth.

What you bring to the table:

Essential:

  • 3+ years of CRM experience, ideally within a complex data environment, with hands-on experience using Iterable, Salesforce, or an equivalent CRM platform.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering end-to-end email campaigns and building automated journeys, with a strong understanding of email best practices and A/B testing.
  • Knowledge of lead conversion strategies within enterprise-level marketing funnels, particularly long-tail nurturing campaigns.
  • A clear understanding of what makes effective email copy and design – you’ll collaborate closely with designers and copywriters, so familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Adobe Suite is important.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management – you’re confident working with cross-functional teams including data, engineers, designers, and writers to deliver CRM projects.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills – you’re able to juggle multiple priorities, work autonomously, and keep projects moving.
  • Ability to interpret briefs, identify missing information, ask the right questions, and give constructive feedback.
  • Motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented – you take initiative, spot opportunities, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Nice to haves:

  • A basic understanding of HTML and responsive email design.
  • Experience using drag-and-drop email editors like BeeFree.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Google Analytics or Looker.
  • Proficiency with AI tools to support copy optimisation and personalisation efforts.
  • Experience analysing CRM performance and translating data insights into campaign improvements.
