Teaching Assistant – Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking with AI

About the Role

Masai, in academic collaboration with a premier institute, is seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant (TA) for the Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking with AI program. The TA will guide learners in understanding modern cybersecurity practices, ethical hacking methodologies, and the integration of AI in threat detection.

This parttime role is ideal for cybersecurity professionals who are passionate about mentoring aspiring security specialists and enhancing learner success in this fastevolving domain.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

1. DoubtSolving Sessions

• Conduct or moderate weekly sessions to clarify concepts on penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, incident response, and AIdriven security.
• Share practical insights and realworld use cases from cybersecurity and ethical hacking projects.

• 2. Q&A and Discussion Forum Support

  • Respond to student queries via discussion forums, live chat, or email with accurate and timely guidance.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing by moderating group discussions on emerging threats and ethical practices.

  • 3. Research Support

    • Collaborate with the academic team to identify new cybersecurity trends, AIdriven security solutions, and advanced hacking tools for course enhancement.

    • 4. Learner Engagement

      • Actively engage students through assignment guidance, interactive polls, and handson project nudges to maintain learning momentum.

      • 5. Content Feedback Loop

        • Gather and share learner feedback to support continuous improvement of the cybersecurity and AI course content.

        • Candidate Requirements

          • 2+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking, or Information Security.
          • Proficiency with penetration testing tools (e.g., Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Wireshark).
          • Familiarity with AIbased security applications or SIEM tools is a strong advantage.
          • Solid understanding of network security, vulnerability management, threat modeling, and incident response.
          • Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring learners.
          • Prior teaching, mentoring, or TA experience is a plus.
          • Experience with online learning platforms or LMS tools is preferred.

            • Time Commitment: 6 to 8 hours per week
            • Location: Remote (online)
            • Compensation: ₹8,000 to ₹10,000 per month
