Looking for Filipino (Philippinesbased) candidates

Job Role: Digital Content Creator

Compensation range: $1,800 – $2,500 AUD monthly, with potential for adjustment based on experience.

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and selfdriven Digital Content Creator (Social Media) with a strong background in video editing and visual content production. This role is ideal for a midlevel to senior creative professional who thrives in a fastpaced digital environment and can take full ownership of the content creation lifecycle—from ideation to execution. You’ll be responsible for developing highquality content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, including Instagram Reels and other shortform videos, static graphics, and story sequences.

This is a handson, creative role requiring a sharp eye for detail, a deep understanding of social media trends, and the ability to craft compelling narratives tailored to different platforms. The ideal candidate is both a content strategist and a content maker—capable of managing a content calendar while designing thumbstopping digital assets that align with brand voice and audience preferences.

The role will see you produce content across a variety of brands, as well as general social account management. This may include planning and scheduling content through a social media planner tool, as well as community management responding to comments and DMs using a directed brand tone of voice.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Design:

  • Develop visually engaging shortform video content (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikToks) that aligns with client brand guidelines.
  • Edit videos using current trends, transitions, and effects to enhance engagement.
  • Design static image assets for posts, stories, and highlights using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Capture, repurpose, or enhance usergenerated content (UGC) when available.
    • Social Media Management:

      • Schedule and publish content across key platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
      • Manage and maintain a consistent posting schedule using tools including google sheets for planning and Sprout Social for scheduling.
      • Ensure content is optimised for each platform’s specifications and algorithmic preferences.
      • Collaborate on social calendars and adapt content to align with monthly campaign goals or trends.
      • Respond to customer DMs and comments through Sprout Social daily ensuring an engaged community.
        • Brand Storytelling & Strategy Support:

          • Collaborate with internal team members to brainstorm and pitch creative content ideas.
          • Contribute to the development of socialfirst content strategies that improve reach, retention, and engagement.
          • Monitor performance metrics and provide creative recommendations for optimisation.
            • Autonomous Execution & Workflow Ownership:

              • Take initiative and ownership of content workflows from start to finish.
              • Liaise directly with project managers andor clients when needed to clarify briefs and timelines.
              • Stay up to date on platform updates and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and highperforming.
                • Required Skills and Qualifications:

                  • 3+ years of experience in digital content creation, ideally within a social media or creative agency setting.
                  • Strong skills in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
                  • Proficiency with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
                  • Demonstrated experience creating content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Meta platforms.
                  • Deep understanding of current social media trends, hashtags, and platform features.
                  • Excellent visual storytelling, layout, and aesthetic design sensibility.
                  • Ability to work autonomously while meeting deadlines and creative expectations.
                  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
                    • Work Arrangement & Expectations:

                      This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

                      • Be available for meetings and collaboration during core [AEST or PHT] business hours
