WHO YOU ARE

We are seeking a seasoned and analytically minded healthcare practice management system Integration Specialist to join our Operations team. This role will be responsible for data transformation and integrations. The ideal candidate is deeply experienced in practice management systems financial data structures and integrations across a diverse range of technologies.

You will work directly with ETL pipelines, API integrations, and our internal EDI transaction engine, ensuring clean, consistent, and timely financial data transmission across systems such as Greenway Prime Suite, Greenway Intergy, Athena Practice, EClinicalWorks, NextGen, Nextech (all platforms), AdvancedMD, Epic, and Cerner Community Works.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Own the design and maintenance of data mappings and transformations between vendor systems and our unified schema
  • Lead data ingestion processes from external practice management systems (PMS) into our financial data warehouse
  • Communicate with thirdparty vendors to facilitate new practice management system integrations
  • Implement integrations between our platforms and external systems, both realtime and batch
  • Serve as the subjectmatter expert on PMS financial data flows including payments, adjustments, charges, and claim activity
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies between external and internal report data
  • Collaborate with internal engineers, data analysts, and client success teams
    • Requirements

      • 5+ years’ experience working directly with financial data from medical practice management systems
      • Strong understanding of the common financial data domains (charges, payments, adjustments, encounters, insurance mapping, medical practice financial reporting)
      • Experience with ETL pipelines
      • Experience with Python and SQL
      • Experience with integrations across a diverse range of technologies, including HL7, FHIR, RESTful APIs, SQL, SFTP, and flatfile workflows
      • Experience in managing relationships with thirdparty vendors
      • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
