Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Flexible hours, Monday to Friday during business hours (Melbourne, Australia Time)
Total Weekly Hours: 20 hours

Join a growing chocolate company in Australia thats making a name online. The business is expanding and uses Shopify to run its store. Theyre focused on boosting their digital presence through affiliate and influencer marketing.

You’ll work closely with the business owner and get handson experience in different marketing areas in a friendly, teamfocused environment.


Our client is looking for a Marketing Assistant to help grow this exciting chocolate brand. You’ll engage with customers, run marketing campaigns, and build relationships with influencers and affiliates. This role is perfect for someone creative, organized, and eager to grow their marketing skills in a fastmoving company.


Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and building positive relationships

  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging social media and marketing content across platforms

  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including performance tracking, list growth, and optimization

  • Maintain accurate and compelling product information to drive conversions

  • Research and identify microinfluencers aligned with brand values and the target audience

  • Coordinate gifting campaigns and cultivate longterm relationships with influencer partners

  • Build and maintain communication with leads, affiliates, and marketing partners

  • Monitor affiliate content to ensure brand consistency and offer guidance as needed

  • Provide analytical insights and strategic recommendations to enhance marketing performance

  • Collaborate with the website team to improve the overall customer experience


    • Requirements
      • Proven experience in marketing assistance, digital marketing, or similar customerfacing roles

      • Familiarity with Shopify and ecommerce operations (preferred, but training available)

      • Strong analytical skills to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both customer service and outreach

      • Experience with social media management and content scheduling tools

      • Knowledge of email marketing best practices and optimization strategies

      • Understanding of influencer and affiliate marketing programs

      • Highly organized, selfmotivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

      • Detailoriented with a commitment to highquality execution
