This is a remote position.
The Lead Bookkeeper – Property Management is focused on the daytoday finances of the Company, and handling of security deposit disbursements and disputes. One of the major responsibilities of this role is accounting for the Company’s payables and receivables, and payroll. Another major responsibility of this role is the refunddisbursement of tenant security deposits. This includes but is not limited to evaluating charges in light of Colorado Real Estate Laws and accepted normal wear and tear guidelines, tracking, and ensuring statements. Refunds are issued within the required timeframe, communicating with owners about and providing options regarding any charges disputed by tenants, and resolving any tenant disputes, including issuing refunds if applicable or in the best interest of resolving the situation.
