Summary
The Supervisor Maintenance Services assists the Manager Mobile Services andor Sr. Manager Mobile Services with managing the operations and personnel for an assigned area. The SMS will have supervisory duties of employees on a shift, including but not limited to: Maintenance Specialists Leads, Maintenance Specialists IIV, and Parts Runners. The SMS assists the technicians as needed to develop relationships with clients and vendors. The SMS is responsible for ensuring the customers needs are being met while balancing financial, operating, quality, safety and asset targets against the requirements of the business. The Supervisor Mobile Services should be cross functionally trained in order to be able to back up others within the shop. This may also be a development position to prepare incumbents for the Manager Mobile Services role.
Essential Functions
Workflow Management: Responsible for work analysis, planning and scheduling, scheduling and assigning work to Maintenance Specialists, productivity tracking and optimization, shift and shop meetings, and work order review and approval Perform equipment inspections Ensure regular communication with our leaders and facilitate needed resources to meet objectives Ensures all warranty policies and procedures are executed
Labor Management Recruit and hire MSs to provide quality service to our external customers Ensure all technicians are onboarded effectively. Provides management, training and development of all personnel assigned Responsible for Performance Management of all assigned personnel Responsible for successful development and execution of the Technical Training Plan in coordination with the Field Training Team. Ensure TOPS plan is prioritized based upon Breakdown, Rework and Running Cost trends
Customer Management: Monitor interactions with our customers and maintenance specialists to ensure delivery of promised services to maximize satisfaction for our customers Responsible for delivering customer uptime through the effective scheduling of maintenance specialists as well as the consistent monitoring of MS workflow and productivity
Financial Management: Responsible for implementing cost control measures related to maintenance operations budget and location P&L statement to meet financial objectives Directly responsible for successful execution of Maintenance Initiatives to attain or exceed specified financial targets Responsible for the optimization of net maintenance cost per unit Work with vendor sourcing group to identify potential and preferred vendors for specific vehicle maintenance services Responsible for ensuring accuracy of third party invoices and the quality of worked outsourced to vendors Responsible for Payroll, Purchase Order approval and invoice reconciliation, and fuel reconciliation, all liquid inventories to include fuel, DEF and oil Responsible for the customer bill back process to include identification, review and approval of bill back opportunities Responsible for ensuring proper documentation and explanation reporting of rebillable activity Responsible for the Warranty process and maximizing Warranty recovery in the shop Ensure data integrity in the system of record Responsible for biannual inventory audits of all locations under footprint
Quality Management: Responsible for Quality Inspections of PM & repairs, as well as performing In Process Reviews on nonPM work Lead breakdown root cause analysis process, implement corrective actions locally, and when necessary, communicate issues to Technical Assistance Center Maintain controlvisibility over work completed by the MS’s to ensure proper root cause diagnosis by technicians and that the yield on all partscomponents is optimized Develop and ensure implementation of Quality Assurance Audit Corrective Action plans and Continuous Improvement programs Accountable for maintenance of all relevant documentation required to meet andor exceed local, state, federal, as well as customer requirements Responsible for ensuring a safe workplace and providing guidance for all safety efforts and initiatives Ensure Cleanliness and quality of repair for all maintained vehicles Comply with Safety, State, and EPA regulations and requirements Conduct monthly safety meetings and training remotely to consistently reinforce Ryder’s commitment to safety

Qualifications
H.S. DiplomaGED, Required
Associates degree or 13 years or more experience in a maintenance operations environment required. Demonstrated success in a Ryder role may be substituted for this requirement, Preferred
Bachelors degree or 13 years or more experience in a maintenance operations environment required. Demonstrated success in a Ryder role may be substituted for this requirement, Preferred

Compensation Information:
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market dataranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, andor longterm incentive plan based on the level andor type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
