Job description

At Praetorian, we hire the top 1% of cybersecurity talent to tackle the toughest security challenges. As a team of elite offensive security engineers, we push the boundaries of what’s possible in adversary simulation, application security, cloud security, and beyond.

Praetorian is an expert-driven offensive security company whose mission is to prevent breaches before they occur. We help organizations shift from an "assume breach” mentality to adopting a prevention-first cybersecurity strategy by actively uncovering exploitable vulnerabilities before threat actors can exploit them.

From red team engagements and attack simulations to Chariot, a fully managed continuous threat exposure management program, Praetorian’s human-led, tech-enabled suite of offensive security solutions allows organizations to proactively identify and remediate risk while staying in control of their constantly evolving attack surface.

If you’re looking for a place where technical excellence is the standard, continuous learning is encouraged, and impactful work is the norm, you’ve found it.

Practice Managers at Praetorian lead multidisciplinary teams of security engineers to service and grow their book of business. You are a good fit for this role if you have a security engineering background, experience leading teams, and experience carrying a bookings/revenue goal.

  • 3+ years in a quota-carrying sales role.

Required Skills

  • You must have all of the following:
  • An ability to distinguish between good security engineering and superior security engineering
  • An entrepreneurial spirit that drives superior achievement relative to business goals
  • A servant leadership philosophy that puts the needs of the team ahead of the needs of oneself
  • A willingness to hold oneself to high standards while holding others to the same

Desired Qualifications

  • An advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or computer engineering
  • A greater duration of experience than the time periods listed under “Required Qualifications”
  • Experience as a commissioned officer or senior noncommissioned officer
