Its proprietary ad-buying engine is the first in the world to be powered entirely by Deep Learning algorithms, enabling advertisers to generate outstanding results and reach their goals at every stage of the funnel. 

We are seeking a highly skilled and impactful Senior IT Infrastructure Manager to lead our Bidding Platform Infrastructure division. This platform is essential to our company's success, serving as the bedrock of our core business. It efficiently manages high traffic (tens of millions of requests per second) worldwide and produces significant data volumes that fuel our operations and support critical dependent teams. The role entails leading 3+ teams (network, hardware, automation and monitoring) in the active maintenance and development of our extensive global data centers network (from the US, through Europe, to Asia). The role is of strategic importance and hence reports directly to the Director of the Bidding Platform.

Desired Experience: 

Strategic Oversight
  • Create and articulate a clear vision for how the Infrastructure division aligns with the needs of the Bidding Platform and RTB House business.
  • Define strategy and drive roadmaps to meet the evolving business needs and constraints of the Bidding Platform. 
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders (up to VP and CTO of the company) and foster excellent communication, including transparent discussions on team priorities.
  • Identify and prioritize technical initiatives that improve infrastructure stability, scalability and efficiency, including technological research on the latest hardware and network solutions from the market.
  • Manage budget planning for data centers, and collaborate with legal and finance teams on necessary purchases.
  • Stay informed about macro and micro changes that may impact infrastructure development efforts and goals, and adapt development strategies accordingly.
  • Sponsor and establish standards, cost monitoring, security, and compliance initiatives.
Leadership
  • Lead, build, and manage technical teams of system and network administrators.
  • Recruit, coach, and manage team members with varying skill sets and experience to enhance efficiency, excellence and to meet their career goals.
  • Proactively adapt team structure, approaches, and processes to best suit evolving environments and business needs.
  • Act as a mentor for other technical leaders and work to establish a strong bench of future leaders.
  • Hold high standards and performance expectations for leaders and individual contributors.
  • Partner with HR Business Partner on employees' daily issues and represent the team in company-wide processes such as performance and salary reviews.
  • Develop, modify, and implement company policies that impact immediate operations and may have company-wide effects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, and product management, to enhance platform capabilities.
Technical Oversight
  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of our Bidding Platform Infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure Staff IT Administrators and other senior contributors to achieve optimal trade-offs in infrastructure setup.
  • Foster an innovative and fast-paced work environment that delivers high-quality infrastructure services.
  • Interface with other technical teams (engineering/research) to establish common interfaces, workflows, best practices, and standards.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure the platform meets performance, scalability, and reliability targets.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience leading IT infrastructure teams, including at least 2 years managing managers or team leaders.
  • 5+ years of hands-on system or network administrator experience (ideally in infrastructures supporting distributed systems architectures and under heavy load).
  • Proven experience leading scalable platforms consisting of multiple in-house data centers or operating in hybrid environments with a mix of on-premise solutions and external 3P cloud.
  • Experience managing multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of influencing and driving change.
  • Expertise in handling large volumes of data.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.
  • Understanding of real-time bidding, retargeting, and programmatic advertising is a plus.
