Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or a related healthcare program., At least one year of experience as an organ procurement coordinator or in critical care/organ transplant., Valid licenses and certificates such as RN, Respiratory Therapist, or EMT-Paramedic., Knowledge of UNOS/UNET and transplant regulations is preferred..

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities related to organ receipt, evaluation, and procurement for transplant.
  • Serve as the contact for organ offers from procurement organizations and organize procurement teams.
  • Manage transportation logistics for organs and assist in training related caregivers.
  • Maintain documentation, analyze data, and participate in educational and committee meetings.

At Cleveland Clinics Transplant Center, experts perform a variety of transplantation procedures. Each year, thousands of lives are saved and transformed because of our innovative expertise. As Donor Procurement Coordinator, you will coordinate all activities related to the receipt of organ offers for transplant, evaluation of organ offers for suitability, procurement of organs and transplant setups. Your position is essential to the organization and functioning of the Transplant Center, allowing caregivers to supply patients with the necessary treatment they need.

A caregiver in this position works fulltime remotely out of Northeast Ohio, with variable shifts from 7:00AM – 7:00PM or 7:00PM – 7:00AM, some holiday and weekend requirements.
