ViiV is seeking a candidate to fill the role of Market Development Director. This role will be joining the Long Acting Injectable (LAI) HIV Treatment Sales Team, reporting into the Field Strategy and Operations Head and working in close partnership with the Sales VP, Area Vice Presidents, Marketing Brand Lead, and the Market Development team across ViiV brands. The main goal of this role is to increase sales performance with a focus on key regions, territories, and customers. This is a critical role that connects the field needs, the competitive landscape, and our internal resources so we can support the sales organization with the right cross functional approach. The Market Development Director is expected to maximize our sales operations teams (including systems, process, insights, and analytics) support to create acceleration in sales performance. Additionally, this role interacts with Brand Marketing, Medical, Digital Marketing, Access and Payer teams and requires understanding the wider strategic picture while going deep into execution at territory level. This role will also be responsible for collaborating with the Market Development team across the portfolio to share insights, best practices, and lead collaboration efforts towards a One ViiV team approach across brands. The role cocreates strategies with first line sales leaders (Regional Sales Directors) and second line sales leaders (Area VPs) while leading without authority and gaining trust to effectively support the performance agenda.
