Summary of Job Duties:
The Utility Worker is responsible for cleaning and maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils.



JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times.

Assist in food preparation before the meal is served and with cleaning the service area after the meal (using proper sanitization methods, restocking, and ensuring the acceptable appearance of the service area).

Operates a cash register (or equivalent), receives payments of cash, checks and charges from customers or employees for goods or services, making change and issuing receipts or tickets to customers.

Maintains the cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas as directed

Washes dishes, eating and cooking utensils, glasses and cups, pots and pans by hand or by properly loading in a dishwashing machine.

Maintains the cleanliness of all worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks

Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.

Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.

Transfers supplies and equipment within and between storage and work areas

Cleans equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.

Complies with HACCP and all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.

Attends all allergy and foodborne illness inservice training, participates in regular safety meetings, designated trainings, and hazard assessments as directed.

Perform other duties as assigned.
