Senior Consultant – Project Manager (Oracle EBS Functional Analyst)

  • Salary Range: $110,000–$140,000 W2

 

Position Overview

BizFirst is supporting our client in the search for a Senior Consultant – Project Manager (Oracle EBS Functional Analyst) to lead and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Federal Financials and Projects R12 requirements and functional solutions under the TFMS (Treasury Financial Management System) program. In this role, you will assist in gathering, refining, and documenting business requirements, translating them into functional designs and supporting system enhancements. You will play a lead role in managing documentation, ensuring compliance with policies, and facilitating collaboration across technical and quality assurance teams throughout the system development life cycle (SDLC).

Our client is a specialized management consulting firm that engages experienced professionals and consultants to support the federal government with strategic project execution, financial process optimization, automation, and advanced data analytics. Through innovative solutions, they develop and implement strategies to optimize operations for defense and federal agencies, delivering critical improvements to financial oversight and operational effectiveness.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering and documentation for Oracle EBS Federal Financials and Projects R12 enhancements.
  • Develop project artifacts such as system requirements documents, functional design, configuration documents, test plans, and test scripts in accordance with project schedules.
  • Provide support with clarifying and revising requirements throughout the release cycle.
  • Facilitate and document customer and stakeholder meetings, including discussion points and decisions.
  • Collaborate with developers, technical, and quality assurance teams to ensure requirements are clear, actionable, and aligned with SDLC and organizational standards.
  • Perform functional testing of developed solutions and update documentation, including requirements traceability matrices (RTM), after each release.
  • Support the development of integrations and data migration materials.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulations, and documentation standards.
  • Operate independently while maintaining effective collaboration across team members.

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent education/experience in accounting or information technology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a functional or requirements analyst for Oracle EBS Federal Financials and Projects R12.
  • Experience utilizing Oracle EBS for the following core processes: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Experience in systems and data analysis with a strong understanding of the SDLC.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively collaborate in a team environment.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).

 

 Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio and Project.
  • Oracle Certified Professional is a plus.
