    • About the Role

      At SearchStax, our Technical Account Managers (TAMs) play a critical role in driving success for our largest and most strategic customers. Acting as both solution advisor and customer advocate, TAMs partner deeply with clients to align SearchStax’s solutions with their broader business and technical objectives.

      This role goes far beyond issue resolution. Our TAMs engage in proactive discovery, build trusted relationships across technical and operational teams, and help customers architect and scale robust search solutions. From guiding best practices to addressing topics like performance, scalability, security, and recovery—TAMs serve as consultative partners, deeply embedded in each customer’s success journey.

      As a subject matter expert in SearchStax and the broader enterprise search ecosystem (including Solr), you’ll anticipate needs, identify opportunities, and deliver strategic value. You’ll be equally comfortable diving into technical conversations as you are aligning stakeholders and influencing decisions across an organization.

      This is a foundational, highimpact role as we scale. You’ll help shape what technical partnership looks like at SearchStax and have the opportunity to build the TAM function from the ground up.       What You Will Do
      • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop and execute retentiongrowth strategies within our existing strategic accounts

      • Serve as the technical point of contact for a portfolio of highvalue customers

      • Build strong relationships with technical leaders and devengineering teams

      • Lead discovery discussions and develop shared roadmaps aligned to customers business goals

      • Guide best practices on scaling, performance, architecture, recovery, and security

      • Proactively engage in customer planning sessions, implementations, and escalations

      • Partner crossfunctionally with Product, Sales, Support, and Engineering to advocate for customer needs

      • Translate complex technical issues into actionable recommendations

      • Help shape the TAM role, tools, and processes as a founding team member

            • Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
              • 8+ years in a customerfacing technical role

              • 5+ years supporting enterprise deployments

              • Knowledge in cloud and web related technologies is required (Experience with Sitecore, Adobe or Acquia is a plus).

              • Proficient in cloud providers (Azure or AWS or GCP), networkingsecurity systemsprotocols and Linux systems are essential.

              • Familiarity with search platforms (Solr, Elasticsearch, Sitecore, Adobe, Acquia, etc.)

              • Working familiarity with a basic scripting language (python, ruby, etc.).

              • Experience leading demos, technical deepdives, and architectural discussions

              • Proactive with keeping up with technology trends in cloud services.

              • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or a comparable field is preferred

                    • Pay Transparency
                      • Base Salary: This position offers a base salary range of $115,000 to $168,750 annually, with an additional annual incentive target of 25% of your base compensation. Compensation package offered may vary depending on skills, experience, jobrelated knowledge and location.

                      • Salary Structure: Our salary ranges are determined by market analysis and are designed to evolve with job performance over time.
