Job Summary

The US HR Director will be responsible for leading US Human Resources. The position is based in St Louis, MO (Hybrid).

Responsibilities

  • Lead US HR and people policies including development and implementation

  • Oversee the employee performance evaluation process in collaboration with stakeholders

  • Oversee accurate processing of recurring payrolls, as well as special payrolls

  • Responsible for preparation of advanced metrics and reports to inform HR business practices, ROI, and risk assessments

  • Oversee departmental compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local employment/labor laws and regulations

  • Hands-on contributor while leading US HR

  • Cultivate and develop an organizational culture

  • Manage benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements

  • Interface with all levels of the organization to coordinate and oversee all HR-related activities

  • Establish strong competitive practices, and benchmark HR practices in our market and industry; maintain knowledge of industry trends and be a leader in best and creative practices

  • Identify and forecast potential roadblocks; evaluate realistic options and recommend/implement appropriate courses of action

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • BA/BS in Management, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or equivalent

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience

  • Broad HR leadership experience in key areas such as employee relations, compensation, payroll, benefits, and learning and development

  • Servant leadership that respects employees and empowers their team

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills

  • Direct people management experience

  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
