Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Clinical User Experience Analyst to join a largescale Clinical Information Solution (CIS) consolidation initiative. This role focuses on improving user adoption and clinical workflow integration by ensuring endpoint devices such as PCs, thin clients, tablets, and scanners are deployed in an intuitive, ergonomic, and efficient manner across healthcare facilities. The Analyst will work closely with clinicians to assess needs, design usercentered workflows, and recommend technical solutions that enhance usability and reduce workflow friction.

Requirements

In this role the Clinical User Experience Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  • Elicitation of Clinical User Experience Requirements: Engage clinicians across the province in various clinical settings to understand needs and requirements and how Endpoints can be optimized to match their workflows. Travel throughout the province and onsite assessment work is required.
  • Clinical UserCentered Design & Workflow Analysis: Working closely with Clinical and Technical resources leading the process of understanding, documenting, and optimizing the placement and deployment of Endpoint devices in clinical workflows that will be used within Facilities.
  • Usability & Adoption: Ensure Endpoint selection and configuration are intuitive and promote user adoption.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between clinical endusers, the CIS vendor, internal IT teams, and project leadership on all matters related to usability and endpoint technology.
    • Mandatory Qualifications
      • Degree in Business, Healthcare, or IT – or equivalent experience.

      • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Canadian health information systems, standards, or clinical software.

      • At least 3 years of experience working directly with clinicians in hospital settings.

      • Proven experience in optimizing endpoint deployment in clinical workflows.

        • Desirable Skills
          • 3+ years leading workshops, creating user personasuse cases.

          • Strong facilitation, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.

          • 2+ years of experience conducting usability testing and surveys.

          • Bilingual (EnglishFrench) communication skills preferred.

          • Familiarity with New Brunswick’s healthcaretech landscape is an asset.

          • Based in New Brunswick or previous clinical background is a plus.
