Your Responsibilities
\n- As a disciplinary leader provide directions, coaching and support to the Data Scientists (and Data Engineers - currently 8 FTEs, plan to grow to ~15 by end of year) chartered to Research, develop and adapt algorithms that unlock the capacity in the energy system through optimised returns in trading the flexibility of our assets
- Actively drive talent development in the Data Science team, individually and as a team
- A winning mentality that drives cultural change; role-model collaboration and teamwork with peers heading other teams
- Be responsible for the expansion and evolution of our cloud-based service offering, delivering innovation and differentiation, based on technology leadership solid fundamentals and a lean research and implementation process
- Collaborate with the executive and leadership teams to set the vision, strategy, algorithmic roadmap and long-term goals that align with the business objectives, achieving Entrix's success
- Fail-fast, as part of the tech leadership team, accelerating product delivery without sacrificing excellence is what we are inspired by, finding new ways of working, using technology, breaking habits, limits and ceilings. Especially for a data-science team the balance between exploration and delivery is crucial and needs to be clearly demarcated and managed
