Mobile Designer

Role Overview

We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Mobile Designer (individual contributor) to join our team. This is a critical role as our mobile app user experience is essential for user acquisition and retention. You will help to shape not just the look and feel of our product, but the entire user journey and experience of our app.

Key Responsibilities
As a senior designer, you are comfortable with the design processes and can work independently on a project. You are able to scope and prioritise design tasks for yourself and deliver them efficiently. Youll spend most of your time trying to simplify very complex products and ideas. This starts from understanding users needs and the problems they face, to creating intuitive user flows, and polishing the detailed aesthetics and understanding how they make users feel.

How it’s like on a daytoday basis:

• Spend time with product owners and other team leads to discover pain points and translate insights into tangible designs that address customer needs while meeting business goals.
• Propose and create datainformed designs that improve key metrics including user acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Plan and conduct user research to validate design decisions and identify improvement opportunities.
• Work with the Design Systems team to develop, refine, and maintain a comprehensive mobile design system that ensures consistency while allowing for innovation.
• Produce work you are proud of, including user journey maps, information architecture, wireframes, highfidelity visuals, and clickable prototypes for user validation.
• Guide engineers in implementing your designs.
• Proactively suggest new features and improvements based on cryptocurrency trends, user feedback, and industry best practices.
• As a senior designer, contribute towards optimising the design process to make it more effective and efficient.

  Job Requirements
  

  • Demonstrated ability to design products and experiences, with over 5 years in digital product design. Experience in fintech, tradfi, or DeFi is a plus.
  • Strong visual design sense and an eye for detail, with a portfolio showcasing prior work—from interaction design to copywriting—with clear design rationale.
  • Passionate about usercentered design with experience in user research, mobilefirst, and responsive design.
  • Ability to simplify complex financial concepts and make them more accessible through intuitive design.
  • Strong prioritisation skills—you focus on what truly matters in UX before perfecting visuals.
  • Confident in your ideas and willing to advocate for them, while also open to alternative solutions and constructive feedback.

    • Proficient in Figma (minimum requirement)
    • Familiarity with AI tools to support your design process
    • Basic understanding of HTMLCSSJS and mobile technologies such as React or Angular is a plus
