We are hiring immediately for Business Development Manager role that will help us to power progress for our customers

Position Overview

The purpose of this role is to achieve revenue and profit targets through for both short term & long term of Aggreko’s power and temperature control products, services & solutions in a new business environment across NEA.

    • What you’ll do

      • Leverage Aggreko’s existing capabilities (assets, technology, and operational knowhow) to build commercially viable solutions
      • Lead the development of longterm energy businesses** across Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan
      • Create and win new opportunities worth over USD 1 million, outside of existing sales channels
      • Structure new business models including IPP (Independent Power Producer) schemes, government subsidy programs, and project finance mechanisms
      • Design and implement business models that can generate revenue in the short term**
      • Rapidly respond to market demands with agile and scalable business concepts
      • Support the full cycle from pilot deployment to commercial scaleup
      • Develop and execute M&A strategies, Evaluate strategic synergies (customer base, technology, regional expansion, etc.) Conduct valuation, due diligence, and lead deal execution, Plan and support postmerger integration (PMI) to ensure longterm success
      • Explore new industries, partnerships, and deal structures through a strategic business development lens
      • Engage and build relationships with external stakeholders such as government agencies, investors, and partners

        • You’ll have the following skills and experience:

          • Proven experience in business development within the energy sector (renewables, power generation, distributed energy, etc.) in Japan, South Korea, or Taiwan
          • Deep understanding and handson experience in IPP models, government subsidies, and project finance structures
          • Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen, capable of turning ideas into profitable business opportunities
          • Experience in M&A execution (deal sourcing, valuation, negotiation, and postdeal integration) is highly desirable
          • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse internal and external parties
          • Selfstarter with the ability to lead initiatives independently while collaborating effectively across functions and geographies
          • High levels of resilience and decisionmaking capability in fastpaced and complex environments
          • Proficiency in businesslevel English, and fluency in at least one local language of North Asia (Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin Chinese)
          • Travelling frequently to North Asia is required
