Product Owner – Clinical Systems (CTMS, eTMF, SSU)

Job Overview:

The Product Analyst will assist in the development of software products, IT solutions and define the vision, strategy, and priorities at Fortrea. The Product Analyst gathers and prioritize requirements, communicates with stakeholders, and make decisions regarding feature development and release planning. Overall, they act as the liaison between the development team and stakeholders, guiding the product development process to deliver value and meet business objectives.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and constantly improve data/IT products to ensure they meet business requirements and goals.
• Prioritize the features and functionalities of the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and user feedback. This involves constant reassessment and adjustment as the project progresses.
• Works closely with stakeholders and Fortrea teams to gather requirements and translate them into user stories or product backlog items. They ensure that requirements are clearly defined, understood, and documented.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the IT environment and data quality issues to develop appropriate product solutions.
• Provide support and training to end users for new and existing products.
• Monitor and document product performance, user feedback, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Perform all other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, data science, or a related field.
• Experience in IT product development, IT project management, or similar roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and design innovative product solutions.

Experience (Minimum Required):

• At least 4 years of experience in an analyst, BRM or development role.
• Prior experience in IT project management, product management, business analysis, or software development.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and IT technologies for the related functional area.
• Advanced computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point).

Preferred Qualifications Include:

• Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, data science, or a related field.
• Experience in a Clinical Research Organization or healthcare-related industry.
