We’re looking for a highly motivated and proactive Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. This is not your average BDR role — at Antavo, our BDRs are strategic operators who sit at the intersection of Sales, Marketing, and RevOps. Working with 70% inbound leads and 30% outbound, you’ll be responsible for identifying highpotential accounts, executing multitouch accountbased outreach, qualifying leads through intelligent discovery, and helping reactivate dormant demand.

Success in this role depends on mindset, determination, and ownership. We value people who work around blockers, think creatively, and take initiative. You won’t just follow a playbook — you’ll help build it.

What Your DaytoDay Will Look Like

AccountBased Outreach (~30% SpearHunting)

  • Research target accounts to understand their structure, pain points, and potential use cases for loyalty program technology.
  • Partner with Marketing on ABM campaigns and execute personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn, and lighttouch multichannel strategies.
  • Tailor messaging to reflect persona needs, industry trends, and our unique value proposition.
  • Maintain a high outbound activity volume with thoughtful touchpoints and rigorous followup.

    • Lead Qualification & Discovery (~40% research & calls)

      • Conduct discovery calls with both inbound and outbound leads to assess fit using our custom methodologies.
      • Understand pain points, project timelines, budget considerations, and decisionmaking processes.
      • Nurture qualified opportunities and ensure a smooth handoff to the appropriate Account Executive or Regional Sales Lead.

        • Pipeline Development & Funnel Ownership (~20%)

          • Own the followup process for MQLs and event leads (pre, during, and postevent).
          • Drive reactivation campaigns for dormant leads, working with RevOps to track engagement and conversion metrics.
          • Collaborate with Marketing and Product to refine messaging, email cadences, and onepagers.
          • Contribute to regular feedback loops with Marketing and RevOps to improve targeting and funnel performance.

            • Content, Messaging & Playbooks (~10%)

              • Own the outbound messaging library — audit, test, and iterate on scripts and email templates.
              • Develop scalable miniplaybooks for common triggers and ABM signals.
              • Support the transition from reactive outreach to proactive, strategic engagement.

                • What Will Help You Succeed

                  • 1–2 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or demand generation.
                  • Strong research skills and curiosity — you enjoy diving deep into company strategy and tailoring outreach.
                  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident phone presence.
                  • Comfortable speaking to digital, marketing, and ecommerce stakeholders at midtoenterprise level.
                  • Resilient, selfmotivated, and eager to take ownership of outcomes.
                  • Experience with CRM and engagement tools (HubSpot preferred; Outreach, Apollo, Salesloft a plus).
                  • Bonus: familiarity with loyalty, ecommerce, retail, or marketing technology.
