About the role

Were seeking a highperforming, analytically minded Financial Operations & Automation Specialist to join our team. This highly visible and crossfunctional role supports financial reporting, metrics tracking, and is pivotal in driving automation and implementing AIdriven solutions across the business. Youll work directly with the Head of Operations and partner closely with teams across the business, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and decisionmaking. Examples of your responsibilities will include:

Automation & AI Enablement

• Design and implement automation workflows to reduce manual overhead (e.g., invoicing, reconciliation, reporting)

• Evaluate, integrate, and maintain AIautomation tools that streamline financial and operational workflows

• Prototype and deploy lightweight LLMpowered agents (e.g., GPT, Claude) to automate internal operations or decisionmaking

• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, ops, and other functions to identify and act on highimpact automation opportunities

• Financial Systems & Reporting

  • ​​Build and maintain scalable internal reporting systems using modern tools and APIs

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with dynamic, datadriven models

  • Assist with board, investor, and audit reporting, streamlining data collection and improving quality through automation

  • Ensure data accuracy by partnering with external accounting providers and managing systems integrations

  • Data & Performance Analytics

    • Define and evolve realtime dashboards for companywide metrics and OKRs

    • Lead deepdive analyses on business performance and operational bottlenecks

    • Partner with team leads to deliver data solutions that improve decisionmaking

    • Build lightweight internal tools (dashboards, scripts, miniapps) to support crossfunctional initiatives

    • Operational Execution

      • Own and run recurring workflows that keep the business moving, from invoicing and reconciliations to finance ops coordination

      • Act as the operational glue across teams, surfacing blockers, driving accountability, and improving handoffs

      • Step into ambiguous operational gaps, bring structure, and implement sustainable solutions without waiting for permission

      • About you

        • 2–4 years of experience in a hybrid technicalbusiness role, ideally with:
          A foundation in consulting, finance, or operations (e.g., strategy, FP&A, bizops)
          Handson experience in startups or techforward teams

        • Fluency in spreadsheets and modern data tools (Excel, Equals, Snowflake, Notion, etc.)

        • Obsessed with new technology, AI, LLMs, automation APIs, and AI agents, and how it can be leveraged to drive efficiency and business outcomes

        • Selfstarter mentality with the ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize autonomously

        • Process and executionoriented, with a proven ability to drive initiatives from conception to completion

        • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and recurring revenue metrics

        • Bonus: Experience with tools like LangChain, Zapier, Make, Retool, or internal tooling platforms

        • Bonus: experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL)
