 Location : Sterling, VA

 

Specific Job Functions:

  • Reviews in-clearing checks for proper authorization and returns problem items.
  • Reviews customer transactions for errors and posting problems.
  • Ensures proper indexing of mission critical imaged documents.
  • Processes wire transfer requests.
  • Responsible for processing  exception items (NSF, chargebacks, unposted items, stop payments, positive pay violations).
  • Responsible for managing debit card processing and maintenance.
  • Responsible for retrieving, reviewing, and monitoring all file maintenance and new account reports.
  • Responsible for high dollar transaction reviews.
  • Responsible for investigating and resolving  EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) errors.
  • Participates in training related to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements of the institution as it relates to the specific position held and is able to effectively identify transactions or situations relative to the position that would not follow the BSA/AML Policy of the institution.
  • Other Operational Tasks as assigned.


Requirements

 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior banking experience (especially experience related to Deposit Operations) is preferred.
  • Proficient and effective communication and writing skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to become proficient in Bank systems.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a high pressure environment while maintaining professional demeanor.
