Director of Clinical Education Speech Language Pathology Description

South College Online seeks candidates for a SLP Director of Clinical Education. The Speech Language Pathology Director of Clinical Education will work on clinical administration, education, and coordination.


The position is online remote and will report directly to the Program Director of SpeechLanguage Pathology.


Responsibilities

  • collaborate and contribute as an active member to the MSSLP program
  • ensure clinical services comply with all appropriate professional, federal, and state policy and procedures
  • create and routinely update clinical policies and procedures handbooks for students and clinical educators
  • prospect and recruit clinical contracts from the community
  • coordinate and act as liaison for clinical placements
  • secure affiliation agreements for clinicals
  • manage affiliation agreements
  • act as primary contact and coordinator for clinical hour recordkeeping system (CALIPSO)
  • manage the annual clinical budget
  • serve as the primary clinical contact
    • Requirements

      Education

      • Minimum of a master’s degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology
      • Terminal degree preferred
        • Experience

          • Preference will be given to applicants with strong organizational, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills to ensure quality learning experiences for students, and effective collaboration with clinical partners.
