Senior Technical Recruiter (ContracttoHire)

This is a contracttohire role reporting directly to the COO, with a clear path to fulltime if it’s a mutual fit.

About the Role

We’re growing and need a discerning, relationshipdriven Senior Technical Recruiter who can lead searches for Staff and Directorlevel engineers with warmth, clarity, and confidence. You’ll work directly with founders and hiring managers, guiding candidates from first conversation to offer; all while partnering with a dedicated sourcing team to fill the top of the funnel.

This is not a phone jockey role... we need someone who can build trust quickly, navigate ambiguity, and run a tight, hightouch process with both candidates and clients.

Responsibilities include:
  • Working directly with hiring managers and company leadership on live, highpriority searches

  • Leading intake and calibration calls to decode hiring needs and shape search strategy

  • Partnering with sourcing team to refine topoffunnel strategy as needed

  • Acting as the face of the search: own candidate experience from first screen through offer

  • Running structured, warm, and effective candidate screens with strong technical discernment

  • Writing persuasive candidate presentations that sell alignment to clients

  • Providing frameworks and clarity for clients and candidates throughout the process

  • Overseeing interview logistics, maintaining proactive candidate communication, and managing offer delivery with precision

    • You Might Be a Fit If You:
      • Have 5–12 years of recruiting experience, ideally with agency and startup exposure

      • Have placed senior roles, Staff, Principal, and Directorlevel engineers earning $200K–$400K

      • Are a strong communicator and storyteller, not just a boxchecker

      • Can assess technical fluency beyond buzzwords and fluff (e.g., could explain how container orchestration actually works)

      • Are organized and autonomous—you know how to wrangle a hiring manager and keep the process on track

      • Have a growth mindset—you welcome feedback, adapt quickly, and love learning

      • Are a natural relationship builder who candidates trust and hiring managers respect

      • Have some exposure to AIML tooling or are excited to level up fast
