Location: Remote (South Africa-based)

Reporting to: Managing Director (UK/US)
Working Hours: Align with US East Coast (NYC / New Jersey / Connecticut) time zone

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and professional Recruitment Consultant or Resourcer to join our US team remotely from South Africa. You will be working closely with our Managing Director (based between the UK and the US), supporting searches for permanent HR and high-level people-focused roles across the East Coast (primarily NYC, New Jersey, and Connecticut).
This role is ideal for someone who has experience recruiting into the US Professional Services market, particularly within HR or Finance. If you’re passionate about delivery, building strong customer relationships, and working within a collaborative, high-performing team – we’d love to hear from you.



Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the MD to support delivery across senior HR and People roles
  • Source, engage and screen high-quality candidates using LinkedIn, Mercury (CRM platform), job boards, and referrals
  • Manage candidate pipelines and provide shortlists for active roles
  • Schedule and support interviews, manage feedback and process updates
  • Build strong candidate relationships and deliver excellent customer service
  • Maintain accurate records within the ATS/CRM system (Mercury Dynamics)
  • Stay up to date with hiring trends within the HR and Rewards space in the US


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ recruitment experience
  • Previous experience recruiting within the US market, ideally across HR, Rewards, or Finance/Professional Services
  • Strong sourcing and screening capabilities
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently with cross-time zone collaboration
  • Experience using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Mercury (or similar CRM/ATS)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Delivery-focused, with a passion for providing a seamless experience to both candidates and clients
  • Proactive, adaptable and resilient
