About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) focused on Strategic Accounts to own the outbound motion and crack into high-potential enterprise and mid-market eCommerce brands. You’ll identify, engage, and book meetings with strategic prospects, test and refine outbound strategies, and help shape what world-class outbound at Portless looks like.

This is a high-impact role with a clear path to Account Executive—we expect this person to be AE-ready within 12 months.

What You'll Do
  • Own the full outbound process—from research and strategy to messaging and execution—for strategic accounts

  • Use a mix of email, phone, LinkedIn, and creative channels to break through and earn attention

  • Partner closely with the VP of Strategic Accounts and AE team to define ideal customer profiles, craft messaging, and build targeted campaigns

  • Test, iterate, and optimize outreach strategies based on results and feedback

  • Maintain organized notes and outreach in CRM and provide feedback loops to improve team performance

  • Hit (and help shape) pipeline and meeting goals to contribute directly to company growth

What We're Looking For
  • 1+ year of outbound BDR/SDR experience, ideally in SaaS, logistics, or a tech-enabled service

  • Comfortable reaching out cold to VP and C-level leaders and navigating complex orgs

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with tools like Salesloft, Salesforce/Hubspot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus
