Job description

This is a remote position.

As a Senior Business Analyst in the Energy AI and Data industry, you will play a pivotal role in identifying solutions that leverage data-driven insights and artificial intelligence. This will lead to optimize business processes, enhance decision-making, and drive innovation within the energy sector. This role requires a deep understanding of both business operations and technological solutions, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements.
Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies in AI, data analytics, and process automation.
Identify opportunities for AI and process automation within the energy sector.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI-enabled solutions.
Monitor and optimize implemented solutions to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and challenges.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Elicit and document business processes, requirements, and specifications.
Create user manuals and training materials for new systems and processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
8+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst in a technical outsourcing or software development environment.
Familiarity with energy industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
High-level understanding of AI, machine learning, and data analytics capabilities are a plus.
Leadership skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
