Job Role: Accounts & Compliance Administrator

Compensation range: 1,400 - 1,800 AUD/month (non-commission-based)

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement, permanent remote job

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the business hours ( 7 AM - 4 PM PHT,  Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview: We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts & Compliance Administrator to join our client’s team. This is a key support role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys structure and systems, and is happy to jump into other tasks when needed. Flexibility and accountability are a must.

Key Responsibilities: 

Accounts (via Xero):

  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform regular bank and account reconciliations
  • Assist with general financial admin tasks
  • Support month-end reporting and invoicing processes

Compliance Support:

  • Assist with verifying candidate documents and credentials
  • Follow up on reference checks and outstanding compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

Inbox + Lead Management:

  • Manage shared inboxes and sort inbound candidate and client leads
  • Code and categorise candidate profiles accurately on the CRM (Bullhorn)
  • Ensure the Talent Acquisition team has clean, actionable data so they can focus on outreach and calls

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with Xero and basic accounting tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Good communication and follow-through (especially for compliance tasks)
  • Comfortable with admin systems and CRM tools (experience with Bullhorn is a bonus)
  • A proactive, flexible mindset, willing to support in areas outside your core tasks when needed
