Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for an experienced Back End Java Developer to join our remote development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. You will collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to create scalable and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance server-side applications using Java.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
Implement APIs and services to support web and mobile applications.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve development practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Back End Java Developer or similar role.

Strong knowledge of Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
