Reporting to the Head of HR, Asia, this role will be part of the regional HR team and manage a broad spectrum of HR operational activities for countries in the region, from talent acquisition and onboarding to payroll, employee relations, and termination—ensuring compliance with local labor laws and alignment with global HR strategies. Countries include Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.
Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring all processes adhere to local regulations and company policies.
Manage payroll processing in collaboration with payroll providers and Finance stakeholders, ensuring payroll is completed timely and statutory contributions and reporting obligations are met.
Engage and build relationships with local employees and stakeholders, ensuring open communication and that HR/management is well informed of local situations and concerns.
Address employee concerns and disputes, provide guidance on process and policy in accordance with local labor laws and cultural norms, and ensure fair resolution practices.
Support development and delivery of HR strategy including implementation and follow-through on key people initiatives and programs.
Support the review, alignment, and localization of HR policies, employment terms, and employee benefits in accordance with regional direction, local laws, and practices.
Maintain HR documentation and system information, ensuring consistent and timely updates and maintenance of system data, shared folders, and relevant documentation.
Support continuous improvement efforts, including implementation of new tools, systems, and processes across countries in the region.
Provide regular HR data insights (headcount, attrition, training hours, etc.) and support benchmarking surveys and audits as required.
Coordinate talent acquisition efforts for the local country, partnering with managers to ensure roles are filled effectively and efficiently.

Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR operations for the stated countries
Well-versed with local government employment regulations in at least 2 of the stated countries
Highly detail-oriented and organized
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize
Proactive and positive, with a problem-solving attitude
Ability to work independently and as a strong team player
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
