Our APAC application team is looking for a Sound Application Engineer based in Japan to provide operational support to our network of clients and end-users. To guarantee their projects’ success at every stage through a premium customer experience. They provide sound system design support to venues, system engineers, audio consultants, and architects using our proprietary software: Soundvision. The Application Project team also provides on-site support to system and mixing engineers during festivals, tours, special events, musicals, and more.

What You Will Contribute To

• Brand representation within the field of fixed Installation and Touring in Japan.
• Maintain and develop relationships with key Japan & Korea consultants and engineers.
• Market development through outstanding technical expertise for consultants, integrators, venue owners and end users.
• Provide Sound system theory, practice, safe operation training development and administration.
• Provide Sound system design, specification and documentation for Install and Touring applications
• Sound system commissioning, measurement and verification.
• Realize on-site acoustical and mechanical verification/measurement.
• Conduct training and product demonstration.
• Elaborate and conduct technical presentations.
• Support for Products, applications, safe operation and software
• Provide written technical mission reports

What You Will Need To Be Successful

The Sound Application Engineer, must develop professional relationships with consultants, contractors and engineers and draw upon this experience in order to direct the appropriate advice and support. He possesses good knowledge of sound design modeling and measurement procedures.

• Minimum 4 years of work experience in Pro Audio industry.
• In-depth knowledge of the Japanese Installation and Touring Pro Audio market.
• Experienced in modeling (EASE) and common measurement tools (SMAART) preferred
• Practical PA system design and operation for touring and/or corporate touring market
• Good command of Japanese and proficient in English
• This is a remote position however, candidate is already expected/authorized to live/work in Japan

A portfolio of previous work is required with application

Location and Travel:

• Applicant must reside and be authorized to work in Japan or Korea
• Exciting role that would require regional travel between 50-75%
