Responsibilities
  • Execute bidirectional translations (CN to EN) for:Narrative scripts & dialogues, UI components & system documentation and Marketing/promotional materials
  • Ensure linguistic consistency with game lore, character personas, and target player demographics
  • Collaborate with QA teams to resolve terminology conflicts and cultural adaptation challenges
  • Develop/maintain centralized terminology databases (e.g., characters, skills, items)
Requirements
  • Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese
  • Native-level command of English
  • Cultural fluency in target regions (incl. gaming subcultures, Gen-Z lexicon)
  • Deep cultural awareness of target regions
  • 1+ years in game localization (Portfolio required)
  • Hardcore gamer with expertise in RPG/ACT/MMO text conventions
  • Advanced CAT tool proficiency (Trados/memoQ; terminology management)
  • Ability to transcreate humor, slang, and cultural metaphors
  • Strict adherence to NDAs and ability to deliver 2,000+ words/day under deadlines
