Who The Client Is:

The client is a boutique event planning and styling agency that specializes in high-touch, concierge-level services. Their work is primarily focused on weddings (95%), with a smaller portion dedicated to marketing and brand activations (5%). Positioned in the upper-mid market, they are committed to elevating their brand profile and consistently delivering exceptional, non-ordinary experiences that exceed client expectations.

Role Overview:

We’re on the hunt for an Event Design Conceptor with a strong background in interior design or architecture and a passion for creating visually stunning, high-end wedding experiences. This is a unique opportunity to join a boutique event planning agency that delivers bespoke, concierge-level services in the upper-mid market space.

The ideal candidate has a keen eye for aesthetics, experience working with organic elements like florals and plants, and is confident in both digital and hand-drawn concepting. If you’re creative, detail-oriented, and love the world of event and wedding design, this could be the long-term, flexible role you’ve been looking for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and design wedding and event spaces that reflect our clients' vision and our brand’s premium aesthetic
  • Create 3D renderings using SketchUp or similar tools to bring ideas to life for internal teams and clients
  • Use Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop to sketch, illustrate, and refine design concepts
  • Work with organic materials such as florals and greenery in spatial planning and visual storytelling
  • Stay on top of emerging design trends, aesthetics, and event styling innovations
  • Collaborate with stylists, planners, and external vendors to ensure cohesive and elevated execution
  • Provide input into graphic elements or visual identity (if experienced in graphic design)
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail in all visual presentations
  • Be open to learning new tools and workflows that improve efficiency and creativity

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in design, architecture, or a similar creative discipline
  • Proficient in SketchUp, Procreate, and Adobe Illustrator
  • Bonus points for proficiency in Photoshop and/or experience in graphic design
  • Proven track record in event design, ideally with a strong portfolio featuring wedding projects
  • Comfortable working with organic elements such as flowers, plants, and natural textures in spatial design
  • Fluent in English with confident, clear, and proactive communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail — able to spot even the smallest flaws in design execution
  • Willing and able to learn new tools, software, and stay aligned with emerging trends and aesthetics
  • Deeply passionate about weddings, styling, and event design — this is more than just a job
  • Seeking a long-term opportunity with flexibility, creative growth, and a supportive, relaxed work culture
  • A Strong portfolio is required to be considered for this position
