Job description

This is a remote position.

A fast-paced retail business is seeking a highly organised and proactive Remote Part-time Personal Assistant for 10 - 20 hours per week to provide comprehensive administrative and project support to the director. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, exceptional organisational skills, and proficiency with modern productivity tools such as Asana and other task or communication platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support, including diary and inbox management, meeting coordination, and document preparation
  • Manage task lists, project timelines, and team follow-ups using tools such as Asana, Trello, or similar platforms
  • Coordinate small-scale projects and support broader initiatives by ensuring tasks are tracked, deadlines met, and stakeholders updated
  • Prepare and format reports, presentations, and internal documents as required
  • Assist with research, data entry, scheduling, and workflow improvements
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Support personal tasks for the executive or leadership team where appropriate



Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a similar administrative or personal assistant role (remote experience preferred)
  • Full home office set-up
  • Strong proficiency with productivity and project management tools such as Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Experience in supporting remote teams or executives across time zones is an advantage
  • Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field is beneficial


Benefits
Flexible working hours (depending on business needs and candidate availability)

Salary:

R200 - R224
