To provide assistance with financial and operational analysis activities with a limited functional or organizational scope.
Candidate must have intermediate level experience working with Kronos (UKG Workforce Central), within the payroll process. PeopleSoft experience is a plus. This is a 6 - 7 month, temporary assignment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Supports the coordination, preparation and analytical review of financial and operational reports, financial statements, scorecards, metrics, benchmarks, budgets, and financial forecasts as directed
Supports the analysis of historical and projected financial and operational data to provide leadership information to make relevant financial decisions
Supports the preparation of information to support developing trends that will inform forecasts and management decision making
Identify and utilize technology and best practices to ensure continuous process improvement
Efficiently retrieves and compiles financial data and statistical information
Remains current with and progressively learns industry trends, analytical techniques and appropriate financial systems necessary to complete essential job functions
Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure
Performs related duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
Possess at least an entry level understanding, with progressive development, of financial statements and relationships, analytical techniques, operations, and working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, practices, and procedures

Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively work and communicate with individuals at all levels of the institution

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent in related field and 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience. Kronos WFC and Payroll (to include timekeeping, historical edits, etc.) experience required.
PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
CPA and/or Masters’ Degree in Business or related field is preferred. Experience in Health Systems and Academic Medicine is desirable.

Standard office environment. This will be a mostly remote position.
