Job description

At Day Translations, we are seeking a passionate, goal-driven Sales Representative with hands-on experience in the localization and translation industry to support our growth initiatives. This isn’t just a sales role — it’s an opportunity to help global businesses connect across languages through tailored linguistic solutions. 

We’re looking for someone who understands the unique demands of multilingual content and has practical, working knowledge of CAT tools and TMS platforms, such as memoQ, Smartcat, Phrase, and more. We want someone with experience and a proven track record of winning larger deals with enterprise clients. If
you’ve ever been involved in a translation or localization project, we would like to hear your story.
 


Responsibilities:

  • Develop new B2B sales opportunities and nurture existing accounts 
  • Access and communicate with C-Level and Director-level decision-makers 
  • Generate leads via outbound prospecting, inbound follow-ups, referrals, and networking 
  • Build deep knowledge of your prospects’ business goals, industries, and localization needs 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Project Managers, Operations) to offer the right solutions 
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from outreach and proposal to closing the deal 
  • Maintain and optimize sales tracking and reporting within Pipedrive CRM 
  • Support ongoing improvements in sales strategy and market positioning 

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing — preferably in the language services, localization, or tech/SaaS industry 
  • Familiarity with CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, memoQ, Smartcat) and/or TMS platforms 
  • Prior exposure to the translation/localization workflow and industry-specific sales 
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce, HubSpot) 
  • Certificate, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field 
  • Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus 
  • Self-motivated, organized, proactive, and able to work independently
