Job Overview:

      We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to help grow our client base within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new client partnerships by offering tailored staffing and recruitment solutions for both contract and permanent positions. You’ll work closely with internal recruiters and hiring managers to match highly skilled pharmaceutical professionals with top-tier companies across the U.S. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and has a passion for building relationships and driving business growth in a specialized niche.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and target pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences companies with staffing and recruitment needs
  • Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn networking, referrals, and participation in industry events
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, hiring challenges, and workforce plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, HR departments, and executive decision-makers
  • Present tailored recruitment solutions for both contract and permanent pharmaceutical roles
  • Collaborate with the internal recruiting team to align candidate delivery with client expectations
  • Negotiate service agreements, manage client onboarding, and ensure a smooth hand-off to recruiting operations
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions using CRM tools
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
  • Stay updated on industry trends, hiring patterns, and competitor activity within the pharmaceutical sector
Qualifications:
  • Experience in business development, client acquisition, or sales, preferably within the staffing/recruitment industry
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry and related roles
  • Proven track record of success in generating new business and closing staffing/recruitment deals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present value-driven solutions clearly and persuasively
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and sales cycles simultaneously
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and virtual communication platforms
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with internal teams
  • Bonus: Existing network in the pharmaceutical industry or experience working with MSP/VMS platforms



Salary:

40000 - 60000
