Job purpose:

We are looking for a Data Campaign Engineer to support campaign automation and data operations for multichannel marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to design scalable data solutions that contribute to the success of our clients' campaigns.


Job details: 

  • Location: 100% Remote (must be able to work on a UTC-6 schedule)
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. UTC-6
  • Job Type: Full-time position
  • Language Proficiency: Professional proficiency in Spanish and English (B2+ reading, writing & conversation)
  • Availability: Immediate availability preferred


Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating segments using SQL for multi-channel campaigns.
  • Supporting the automation of manual processes under supervision using SQL and Python.
  • Monitor campaigns to identify and report issues.
  • Analyzing documentation and learning to extract data using APIs with team guidance.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing Sciences and development teams to support campaign tracking and code deployment.
  • Assisting in campaign implementation and monitoring on platforms such as Adobe Campaign Classic, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Pega, or Braze.
  • Participating in meetings with agencies, vendors, and clients to understand requirements and support campaign execution.
  • Communicating basic progress and results to internal teams.
  • Supporting data tagging and organization to improve future analysis.
  • Staying up to date with basic knowledge of digital marketing and data analysis, with a strong willingness to learn continuously.


Required Academic Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in cloud, APIs, or marketing technologies (preferred)


Required Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience using SQL and Python or working with APIs for data extraction
  • 3+ years designing and implementing ETL solutions
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience using Braze (required)
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Experience Platform (required)
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms like Salesforce, Databricks, Azure, Snowflake, or AWS
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, SSJS, and dynamic content personalization
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail in reporting and documentation
  • Effective communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to manage technical requirements and collaborate in a client-facing environment
  • Quick learner with the ability to apply new knowledge across various technical topics
  • Comfortable communicating and documenting in both English and Spanish.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a tech agency or digital campaign environment.
  • Additional certifications in cloud, automation, or data tools.
