Job description

The Strategic Partnership Specialist will support the identification, development, and management of key partnerships that strengthen rater8’s position as a leader in healthcare online reputation management. You’ll play a critical role in scaling partner-driven growth, enhancing client value, and aligning our solutions with key players across the healthcare ecosystem. 

Reporting to the VP of Strategic Partnerships, you’ll work cross-functionally with teams across product, marketing, sales, and client success. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where problem-solving and relationship-building are core to success.

What You’ll Do

 Research & Analysis

  • Conduct market and industry research to maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market needs within healthcare and reputation management
  • Analyze competitor and partner activity to inform partnership strategy and differentiation
  • Utilize rater8 customer/prospect data and marketing-driven client surveys to measure the impact of potential partnerships 

Partnership Development & Management

  • Support the development and launch of new strategic partnerships in alignment with company goals; help manage the partner launch and co-marketing calendar
  • Coordinate onboarding, integration, and enablement processes for new partners; provide Tier I Partner support relating to sales-related questions
  • Support the ongoing management of existing partnerships to maximize performance and ROI
  • Maintain strong partner relationships and act as a key liaison between internal and external stakeholders; set up meetings, track deliverables, communicate timelines, and facilitate issue resolution
  • Track partnership performance, engagement, and pipeline metrics; support regular reporting and optimization; work with VP of Strategic Partnerships to create presentations & reports for executive quarterly partnership update meetings
  • Create and maintain lead tracking reports for the VP of Partnerships, the Partner, and rater8 Finance (e.g., tracking of past & future commission payments)
  • Work closely with rater8’s Client Success team on: partner training; coordination of and generation of warm leads; creating/pulling client prospect lists based on Partner’s product/services and target market; creation of client emails; creation of call scripts highlighting new Partnership offering(s) 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and client success teams to ensure partnership success and alignment
  • Ensure clear communication, smooth coordination, and alignment throughout all phases of the partnership lifecycle—from evaluation to launch to optimization
  • Help build presentations, business cases, and partner collateral to support internal and external conversations

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on partner products, services, and business models
  • Represent partner interests internally and advocate for collaborative opportunities
Compensation
  • The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 to $80,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and years of relevant experience.
  • Bonus opportunities may be available based on level and qualifications.
What You’ll Bring
  • 3–4 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, project management, strategy, or related roles (familiarity with healthcare technology, online reputation management, or SaaS solutions is a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field optional
  • Strong research and analytical skills; ability to identify opportunities and connect the dots across stakeholders and solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing multiple priorities and working with external partners
  • A collaborative mindset with a passion for solving problems and driving mutual value
  • Experience with tools including CRM and Support tools e.g., Hubspot and Zendesk
  • Must reside and be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship and must not currently reside in California
